By Design
Ford has too much awareness. 95% of people surveyed thought that they knew all about Ford - but they really didn’t. They didn’t know about their new technology. They didn’t know about their new vehicles.
Ford has spent the last decade heavily investing in their car lineup and it’s time for people to start paying attention to what’s new. So, how can we get people to start looking at a brand that’s over a hundred years old?
“By Design” is Ford's first brand campaign for their car line up. A brand campaign that looks complete different from typical car advertising. It features the Ford script out of its usual blue oval and instead expresses itself using bold colors and beautiful graphics. A familiar brand showing up in a different and bold new way.
My ROLE
Graphic Designer - Created walls of moodboards. Collaborated with different teams through the agency to put together multiple campaign pitch decks. Designed stacks of looks and layouts of the new campaign. Collaborated with other designers in brainstorms and group sessions. Designed custom art work for multiple vehicles in the line up. Handled hundreds of resizes for digital, print and OOH ads. Witnessed vehicle photoshoots. Collaborated with art/creative directors to produce storyboards for TV/social spots. Assisted in the creation of a global campaign style guide.
